HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY

MS Power delivers design and construction projects for both the public and private sectors. MS Power believes that its success is based  on a scientific approach to continuously improve its culture in terms of quality, environmental sensitiveness, occupational health and safety systems. 


MS Power’s essential target is to execute its operations in efficient, high quality, environmentally sensitive, safe and healthy way. Due to these reasons, employees of MS Power are encouraged to adopt a “zero accident” target and “lifestyle” to protect workers, visitors, the public, the project and the environment.


We are committed to delivering services to enhance the quality of human life with minimal impact on the environment through the following principles and control mechanisms:​

  • Rational and creative management approaches shall be adopted in the terms of contracts with clients, and in accordance with international standards and country specific regulations where the work is being carried out.

  • A safe working space shall be provided for our own staff and subcontractors staff. It is expected from all staff to maintain standards and to make every effort to improve them. 

  • Occupational health, safety and environmental rules of the country where the work is being carried out shall be followed and prioritized; not only in the construction and assembly stages, but in all phases of the project including the design, mobilization and camp management stages. 

  • Occupational health, safety and environmental systems shall be developed based on the principle of employee participation and the system’s performance shall be monitored with sequential responsibility.

  • Effective communication lines shall be established with all related parties.

  • All necessary resources shall be provided to ensure the protection of the environment and the health, safety and security of employees, visitors and the public.

  • Occupational health, safety and environmental awareness shall be created and improved for all project and subcontractor staff. 

  • Occupational health, safety and environmental risks for all activities shall be identified; measures shall be taken to decrease risks to an acceptable level. 

  • The performance of the occupational health, safety and environmental management system shall be continuously improved through monitoring, measuring and inspecting the system’s performance to prevent losses and to protect the environment and the health of employees, visitors and the public. 

  • Technologies to enable the use of natural resources efficiently and to produce less waste shall be preferred for all undertaken projects and all stages of the 3project starting from the design phase, Waste recycling and reuse shall be encouraged. 

  • With the awareness that every activity carried out has an impact on the environment, methods of work that are compatible with natural life in the working environment shall be adopted in order to reduce impact on the environment. 

  • All persons fulfilling a management position within the company including Board Members are required to maintain high standards of environmental and occupational health & safety management throughout their responsibility areas.

  • All employees and subcontractors employed by the company are required to adhere to the requirements of the Company’s Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental Management System. 

  • All management systems shall be reviewed at least on an annual basis including this policy statement.
